How I Will Deliver Results
Delivering results as a State Representative is not about promises.
It is about preparation, persistence, and follow-through.
I Will Advocate Early in the Budget Process
Most state funding decisions are made months before the final budget vote.
I will engage early with House leadership, state agencies, and local officials so Worcester’s and West Boylston’s priorities are heard before decisions are locked in.
Communities that show up early get results.
I Will Fight for Fair Funding Every Year
Worcester and West Boylston face different challenges, but both deserve fair treatment.
Worcester is a regional service center with aging infrastructure and growing demands on schools, public safety, and housing.
West Boylston carries major state-owned land that limits its tax base while still requiring full municipal services.
I will fight for fair local aid, strong school funding, road funding, and targeted state investments that reflect these realities.
I Will Use the State Budget to Deliver Results
The state budget is the most powerful tool a State Representative has.
I will work to strengthen funding for:
• Public schools
• Local services such as police and fire
• Roads and bridges
• Infrastructure and community priorities
These resources do not come automatically. They require consistent advocacy.
I Will Secure Targeted Funding When Formulas Fall Short
When state funding formulas do not fully address local needs, targeted funding plays an important role.
I will work closely with city and town leaders to pursue responsible, well documented funding for:
• Roads and infrastructure
• Public safety equipment and facilities
• Schools and municipal buildings
• Senior and youth programs
Every request will be realistic, justified, and transparent.
I Will Follow Through Until the Work Is Done
Passing a budget is not the end of the job.
I will track approved funding, push state agencies to release funds on time, and follow projects until they are completed.
Accountability matters.
I Will Be Present and Accessible
Strong representation means showing up.
I will listen to residents, respond to concerns, and work directly with local officials to solve problems and remove barriers at the state level.
My Commitment
I will be a strong, prepared, and persistent advocate for Worcester and West Boylston.
I will use the seat to deliver results, not just hold it.
Strong representation means fighting for our communities every year and making sure the state delivers what it promises.
